It is with heavy hearts that we announce Dad’s (Mo’s) passing while at Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at the age of 88. Loving father of Gary (Bonnie), Greg and Janice. Cherished grandfather of Robert (Marina), Graham (Emily) and Alanna, and most recently great grandfather of Ava. Mo immigrated to Canada from England in 1957 and spent most of his working career as a design engineer for Erectoweld in Oakville. He decided early retirement was for him and followed his dream of spending the cold Canadian winters in Florida. As a snowbird for more than 25 years in Nokomis Beach he was in his glory. He was an avid fan of golf, both watching and playing “at it” as he would say, and he also loved his auto and motorcycle racing. He was most content in life, kind and caring, always a positive attitude and most grateful for his family and friends. He loved a good laugh, a walk on the beach, and a gin and tonic most days. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. If desired, memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
