Obituary
It is with great sadness we announce that Maureen Anne Carter, age 63, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 while taking her final walk through the neighborhood. Maureen was a long-time resident of Waterdown who is survived by her loving husband of over 42 years, Mike Carter; her children, Lindsay Gillies (Douglas), Matthew (Jessica Murphy); her grandchildren, Carter and Callum; her brother, James Saunders (David Fraser); and her in-laws, Garth and Dorothy Carter. Maureen’s passing reunites her with her parents, Bob and Margaret Saunders.
Private cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Maureen’s Life will be held at a later date. If desired, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
