MaryAnne Luchak August 6th 2022

It is with heavy hearts, we mourn the loss of MaryAnne Luchak, (Yewchin) who passed away peacefully Aug 6, 2022, lovingly surrounded by her family. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she was born in Edmonton, AB Nov 21,1945, raised in the Josephburg – Fort Saskatchewan area. MaryAnne eventually graduated from nursing school and began work in the nursing field as an Operating Room Technician for many years at the Royal Alex and Misericordia Hospitals in Edmonton. Her dedication to her job and helping those within her care was of great importance to her. MaryAnne had many interests from gardening, reading, to cooking her amazing Ukrainian meals. She enjoyed baseball very much to where she coached her children’s baseball team to league champions. Most of all, her biggest joy was her family and will be dearly missed by her husband Bill, children Mark, Pat, sister Johanna, daughter-in-law Patricia, Grandchildren Shane, Samantha, and Suzannah, in addition to many extended family members and friends. Bill and family would like to thank Dr. Schuch for the many years of compassionate care he provided. As well we would like to thank Dr. Deetlefs and staff at VJH for their support and comfort. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation or of a charity of your choice.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of MaryAnne Luchak August 6th 2022..
