Runtas, Mary Ann (nee Gawlik)
It is with a heavy heart that we have to announce the sudden passing of Mary Runtas on Thursday, January 6, 2022. Mary was a long time resident of Caledon East and later moved to Bolton, then to Orangeville. Mary was a leader in many ways and never too tired to accommodate the needs of her children. With Mary’s hard work and devotion, she always found the time to prepare delicious family “meals for her boys”. Without hesitation; she always put the needs of others first before her own. She was everybody’s mom. Family was everything to Mary! Beloved wife to Mario, loving mother to Frank (Diane), Robert (Pam), Mark (Michele). Cherished Gramma of Jason, Shawn, James, Ryan, Alex and Curtis. Mary will be missed by relatives, good neighbours at Watermark. We know Mary will miss the Cleo Lunches, lawn bowling and group activities.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donation may be made to Heart & Stoke Foundation or a charity of your choice.
Deeply Loved & Forever in our Hearts.
A tree will be planted in memory of Mary in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville.
Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
