Mary (Peg) Melanson
1955-2022
Mary (Peg) Melanson, formerly of Riverview, passed away
peacefully at the Hospice SENB Albert House on November 2, 2022. Born
in Owen Sound, ON, she later in life moved to the Northwest
Territories where she met the love of her life and future husband Joe
Melanson. In retirement they eventually moved to Riverview where they
spent the rest of their lives. Peg loved golf, flowers and enjoyed
working with Parks & Recreation in NWT and with Royal Court in
her retirement.
She will be greatly missed by her niece Carole &
husband Gilles Boucher. Also by her step daughter Michele
Melanson and her brother Tom (Katie) of Owen
Sound, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephew and
niece.
Peg was predeceased by her beloved husband in 2022, her
brother Bill Gillespie, sister Ann Kane and her parents Grant and
Betty Gillespie.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place.
Arrangements are entrusted to Cobb’s Funeral Home and
Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd. Riverview, NB (869-2007).
Donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
