In forever loving memory of Mary Lou Rowlands (nee Sylvestre) who passed away December 9 2022 at 87 years young, and after a lengthy stay at the HSN. She now joins our dear father William Rowlands predeceased Aug 17, 2020. Mom and dad shared 65+ years of marriage. Our mother was a true matriarch, foundation and glue for our family. She held many titles and roles, first as devoted wife. Her extended title was that of mom, to memere and best known as gramma coco to the newer generation of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her children – Gerald (Carroll), Norman, Catherine (Fraser predeceased) Nancy and Bryan (Anja) will miss her at infinitum. She is predeceased by her parents Albert and Anna Sylvestre (nee Rousseau) and her brother Conrad Rousseau (Georgette). She is survived by her two sisters, Denise St George (predeceased Leo) and her phone buddy lil sis Cecile Gagnon (predeceased Germain). Although our mother was only recently taken from us physically, sadly the disease that claimed her was a slow debilitating cognitive impairment. She struggled daily but was able to somehow remember her family. The life she lived before this is what we will treasure. She will be missed dearly by her immediate and extended family which includes a plethora of grand and great grandchildren including nieces, nephews.
