Obituary
We regret to announce the passing of Martina L. Thomas. She was born May 9, 1969 in Kelowna, BC and is survived by mother Delores Thomas; daughters Bianca Cook (nee Thomas), Tiffany Thomas and Britney Brost (nee Thomas); grandchildren Paxton Cook, Johnny Angel Thomas, Cristiano Hanson, Shelby Brost, and Nevaeh Brost; sisters Erica Seymour and Jennifer Thomas; nieces Lana Thomas-Johnny, Silas Christian, Rylin Thomas, Qunitessa Christian, Brooklyn Johnny, Logan Christian and Blaze Gaze as well numerous Aunts, Uncles, cousins. Marty is predeceased her Grandmother Dr. Mary Thomas.
She attended the Okanagan College Professional Cooking Courses and further pursued her dream of cooking at the Salmon and Bannock Restaurant in Vancouver. Marty was given the opportunity to spend more time with her family. She was the type of person who kept in touch with all her friends by visiting them or by using social media.
We are going to miss her and her humor. She brought lots of great memories to us.
The Wake will be held on the Melamen Health Centre, 461 First Nation Rd, Salmon Arm, BC on Sunday, October 23, 2022 beginning at 4 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 24, 2022 at 1 p.m. at Bowers Funeral Home, 440 – 10th St. SW, Salmon Arm, BC.
