Martha was born January 13, 1939, to Frank and Helen Reimer near Steinbach Manitoba. Martha worked as a Nurse’s Aide in Winnipeg until marrying the love of her life, Joe Thiessen, on July 01, 1960. In the summer of 1968, they moved west to BC and ended up settling in Armstrong with their 4 children, Perry, Shirley, Fran, and Roxene. There she enjoyed her gardening and her new job of becoming, Aunty Martha, to many Armstrong kids.
Martha passed away suddenly at home Wednesday morning, August 31, with her husband Joe at her side. She will be missed by many including her husband Joe, her 4 children and their spouses, 10 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
