Marjory was very active in her community at Duffs United Church serving in the UCW for over 40 years. She loved to dance at Family Paradise with Doug and their group of Walton friends. She was an avid gardener and liked to preserve the fruits of her labour. She liked to sew and knit afghans, baby blankets and scarves and hats for the homeless shelter. She hosted many family gatherings on the farm serving made from scratch pies, Christmas pudding and then angel food cake with lemon. She farmed alongside Doug for over 40 years, milking cows for cream and raising beef cattle, pigs and chickens; all the while raising 4 kids making sure they finished their homework and made it on time to music lessons. Marjory instilled a work ethic and need for education in her children. She will be missed greatly by her family & community.
Friends and family will be received at Riverside Funeral Home on Saturday May 7th for visitation at 1 pm with funeral service to follow at 2 pm.
