1938-2022
Marjorie Ann White, 83, of Petitcodiac passed away
Sunday, May 8, 2022 at her residence.
Born in Kilfoil, NB, she was a daughter
of the late Banford and Alberta (Denny) Smith. Marjorie was a
homemaker, she worked at a Department Store in Bristol and was a
business partner at the Lucky Dollar Store in Lincoln. She enjoyed
playing crib and cards at the Legion and she was quite a card shark!
She also enjoyed reading and loved spending time with her
grandchildren.
Marjorie is survived and sadly missed by her sons
Derek Richard Smith “Rick” (Marilyn), Red Deer, AB and Chris
White (Valerie), Anagance; daughters Heather White (Ron) and Erin
Douthwright (Adam) both of Riverview; grandchildren Tyler, Justin,
Courtney, Ryan, Timothy, Clara and Samantha; great grandchildren
Isaac, Owen and Naomi and several nieces and nephews. Besides her
parents she was predeceased by her first husband Perley LeRoy White;
second husband Fred Foster; son Michael White; brothers Lowell and
Richard Smith and special sister Bonnie O’Neill.
Family will receive relatives and friends at the
Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106 (372-4800) on Thursday, May 12
from 11 am until time of the funeral at 1 pm in the chapel with Rev.
Chris Hayes officiating. Interment in Lincoln, NB.
If desired, in memory of Marjorie donations to the
Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
