On May 16, 2022, Mrs. Marjorie Shirt of Saddle Lake, formerly of Moose Mountain passed away at the age of 75 years. She is survived by her children, Janice (Ron Crain), Randy & Clayton (Lisa Quinney); 17 grandchildren, Cody, Amanda, Brett, Adrian, Donovan, Kyle, Samantha, Emily, Sydney, Isabelle, Justine, Emma, Nicole, Dylan, Lincoln, Layton & Darwin; numerous great-grandchildren; siblings, Edward (Shelley) Poitras, Gerald (Dorothy) Poitras, Florence (Frank) Large, Roland (Grace Mercier) Poitras, Richard (Penny) Poitras & Adrian (Lorraine) Poitras; numerous nieces & nephews. Marjorie was predeceased by her husband, Bill; daughter, Sherri; son, Daniel; parents, Lloyd & Mary Poitras; sisters, Theresa Whiskeyjack & Marlene Cardinal; brother, Homer Poitras. A Wake will be held on Monday, May 23 (leaving Grace Gardens at 1:00 p.m.) at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 24 at 10:30 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake with Reverend Father Raldy Jhack Diaz officiating. Cremation to follow.
