Peacefully, on Sunday, May 1, 2022, at Bluewater Health, Marie Findlay passed away at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late John Findlay (2008). Dear niece of June Sparling of Petrolia. Sadly missed by her close cousins and extended family. Marie is reunited with her beloved niece Beverly Bowman (2022), her parents Richard and Margaret Maheu, her sister Grace, and her nephew David. Marie enjoyed her long-term career with the Canadian Border Services Agency. Marie was an avid philanthropist, donating generously to many charities, including but not limited to the Covenant House Toronto and the Canadian Cancer Society. She was a loyal friend and enjoyed lunches, especially with the Brain Injury Association of Sarnia- Lambton, and fellowship with those closest to her. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Cremation has taken place. No public services will be held. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Canadian Cancer Society (cheques only at the funeral home please). Arrangements entrusted to Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia.
