MICELI – Maria (Serravelle)
With her family by her side, it is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Mother, Nonna and Grandma at the age of 91.
Predeceased by her loving husband Antonio Miceli who shared 61 years together. Loving mother of Sam (Erika), Frank (Vivian) and Fausto. Cherished Grandmother/Nonna of Terry, Anthony (Ani), Michael (Lindsay), and Sabrina (Tiffany). Great-grandmother of Felicia, Candace, and Christian. Survived by her sisters Elena (the late Gaetano Bruno) and Lydia (the late Francesco Basolini) and predeceased by her brothers Ralph (Giovannia Serravelle) and brother Mario Serravelle. Maria is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
One of her great joys was gathering with family and friends to share her famous cooking. She was always praised for her many secret recipes, sense of humour, and her witty nature. She will be dearly missed by everyone’s whose life she touched.
Visitation will be held at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL on Sunday September 18, 2022 from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm.
A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Anthony of Padua Church on Monday September 19, 2022 at 10:00 am. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Burlington.
In lieu of flowers a charitable donation in honour of Maria to Dr Bob Kemp Hospice would be appreciated.
