Margaret Ritter, 1939-2022
Margaret was welcomed into the loving arms of her Saviour on December 17th, 2022 in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late Nicholas (1969). Predeceased by dear mother, the late Margaret Stefan (2002) and mother and father-in-law, Maria (1989) and Johann (1966). Loving mother of Nicholas (Mary), Richard (April), Cindy Israel (Murray). Proud grandma of Rebecca (Tim) Giofu, Jacob Taylor, Christiane, Stephen, Colm and Jaydon Ritter. Loving sister to the late Jakob Stefan (2014) and his wife Katherine (1999), the late Peter Stefan (1998), Margaretha (1938) and survived by sister-in-law Agnes. Also predeceased by brother-in-law, Joseph Ritter (2000). Dear aunt of Doris (2013) and Keith Hinton, Ralph Stefan, Linda and Marty Jones, Melissa Stefan, Debbie and Luis Alvarenga. Pre-deceased by great nephew Bryson McCabe (2008) and survived by great nieces and nephews Ashley and Aaron Pelosi and Brandon and Katie Stefan, Alexis and Peter Lahoud, Angelica, Esmé and Teresa Alvarenga. Will be missed by dear friends Dianne Smith, Gerry French, Marilyn Vieceli and Donald Cookson.
Visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel (3048 Dougall Avenue 519-253-7234) on Wednesday, December 21st from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Thursday, December 22nd at First Lutheran Church (160 Giles Boulevard West) from noon until time of service at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Lutheran Church. Interment to follow at St. Alphonsus cemetery.
