Obituary of Margaret Pauline German
Margaret Pauline German born October 2, 1956, passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, July 22, 2022, after a courageous battle with A.L.S. She leaves behind her cherished daughter Madeleine (German) Grenier and her son-in-law Jean-Marc Grenier. She was predeceased by her husband Michael German (2010), her parents Don and Rose Frayne, brother-in-law Frank Vitaro. She is survived by her siblings Peter (Valerie) Frayne, Lucy Frayne (Joe), Donna Frayne-Vitaro (Frank) and Steve Frayne (Karen). Loved by many nieces and nephews.
Margaret was raised in Kingsbridge, was a grad of King’s College and a long-term resident of London. Margaret loved reading, history, thrifting, and movies. The family gratefully acknowledges the support of the ALS community and Bayshore Home Health. Margaret’s family wishes to recognize with love and gratitude Madeleine and her husband Jean-Marc for their unfailing love and devotion to her over the last three years that allowed her to spend her final days the way she wished.
Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 1 Fallons Lane, at 11:00am. Interment to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation made in memory of Margaret to the ALS Society of Canada, King Bridge Centre, or Myotonic Dystrophy.
