Margaret Mongeau nee Rigelhof 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our wonderful mother, Margaret. Loving wife of the late Marwood “Joe” (1998). Cherished mother to Marsha (Dan), Anne (Alan), Pam (1992), Karen, David (Rose), Melissa (Raul), and Richard (1993). Loving grandmother to Jean-Paul, Heather, Antonin, Nicole, Monique, Caroline, Daniel, Michelle, Natalia, Sarah-Jane, Olivia and Elizabeth. Adored Nana to William, Benjamin, Grace, Meadow, Fionn, Rose, Emerson and Violet. Daughter of the late Charles and Agatha Rigelhof. Dearest sister of Russell and predeceased by Helen, Andrew, Barbara, and Richard. Our Mom will be missed by her extended family and friends.
She loved her family and will always be an inspiration to us all. She was a talented seamstress and passed on her love of baking to all of us. Margaret was a member of the Windsor Quilters Guild, the Stroke Recovery Association, and the Red Hat Society.
Margaret’s family would like to thank the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff on the 6th floor WRH Ouellette Campus, and 3rd floor Dr. Y. Emara Complex Care Continuing Care Centre for their excellent, and compassionate care of our Mom.
If you so desire, memorial donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
A private family celebration of Margaret’s life has taken place. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Families First, 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841.
