MCLAUGHLIN, Margaret Bridget, beloved wife of the late Jim McLaughlin, loving Mother to Philip (Karen), John (Bonnie), Geraldine Tomkins (David), Pauline, Bernadette Myers (Neil) and Kevin, adored Nana to Sean, Gerald, Hollie, John, Erin, Shannon and Colleen, predeceased by her darling grandson, Aidan, survived by her dear sister Pauline Roarty of Ireland.
Mom was born in Donegal, Ireland, married Dad in 1959 and immigrated to Canada. In 1966, they moved to Richmond Hill to raise their family. They were long-time parishioners of Our Lady Queen of the World parish and St. Mary Immaculate parish. Mom was a past President of the Catholic Women’s League of OLQW. With their children, they were involved in the local hockey, baseball and Irish dancing communities.
We sincerely thank Hill House Hospice, Dr. Berger and all of the wonderful, caring nurses and PSWs who took such good care of Mom. We also thank Nurse Yulia and Nurse David who cared for Mom at home.
