Margaret Katherine
MacPhee – age 64, of Windermere, passed away at home,
peacefully, with Larry by her side on Wednesday, November 2, 2022.
Born in Halifax, she was the eldest daughter of the late Douglas and
Shirley (Tanner) MacPhee. Margaret worked and enjoyed her many years
as an administrative assistant at Port Williams Elementary. She had a
heart of gold. She enjoyed baking and cooking meals for family and
friends and loved making quilts. She is survived by her partner, Larry
Sawler; daughter, Kelsey (Matt) Webb; son, Jordon Myles;
sister-in-law, Judy (Tim) Sawler; stepson, Jay (Jennie) Sawler;
stepdaughter, Katie (Chad) Meisner; grandson, Ashton Webb;
granddaughter, Harlow Meisner; siblings, Brian (Betty Lou), Earle
(Sherry), Marylee, Beth (Ronnie), Ruth (Tim), Darrell (Ellen).
Margaret is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Special thanks
to dear lifelong friend Kathy, the VON, palliative care, as well as
the doctors and nurses at the QEII. In keeping with
Margaret’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will
be no visitation or services. Donations in memory may be made to the
VON. Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home
and Cremation Services, Kentville.
