Margaret Gene English, 58, of Maple Ridge, British Columbia, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022 after her battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.
Margaret was born on March 15, 1964 to Lillian Reid Smith and Clinton McCuaig English in Vancouver, British Columbia. She was the youngest child of 6 children. Margaret grew up in the East End of Vancouver, ultimately settling in Maple Ridge. After she graduated from Templeton High School, she went on to the London School of Hairdressing. Her life was coloured by her incredible experiences meeting people through her hairdressing business.
She is survived by her spouse, Greg Nutbrown of 33 years, daughters Brittany Kavanagh (Lucas) and Carly Nutbrown, father Clint English (Shirley), sisters Karen Deise (Tony), Brenda English, Louise English (Don), brothers Clayton English and Colin English (Jacquie), nephew Matthew English (Lindsay), niece Rachel Peterson (Mike) and great nieces Emily English and Isla English.
Margaret was a person who valued her relationships and maintained a strong relationship with all of her family and friends throughout her life. A special thank you to Buchanan Lodge and Karen Deise for caring for Margaret during her final days.
Services will be held at:
Maple Ridge Funeral Chapel,
11969 216St, Maple Ridge
July 23, 2020 at 3:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
