Anne passed away peacefully on March 8, 2022, with her daughters by her side. She is survived by her loving daughters Jennifer (Ian) and Alison, granddaughters Megan, Sarah and Danielle, her brother Bruce (Monique) and sister-in-law Judy, along with her beloved extended family. Predeceased by her parents, Jack and Peggy, her brother David, husband Ron, and Jennifer and Alison’s dad, Lorne.
Anne had a deep faith in God and a genuine love for her family and friends. Born and raised in Victoria, Anne lived nearly her entire life in Oak Bay. She was a proud graduate of Oak Bay High School. She continued her education by completing her RN at the Royal Jubilee nursing program and her BSN at McGill University. She enjoyed her career in nursing, mostly as a Public Health Nurse in Victoria. Throughout these years, Anne developed many friendships which she lovingly maintained. She got so much joy from these connections, some of which go all the way back to her childhood. Anne was always actively involved and interested in the lives of her family and friends, her church and neighbourhood, but her most cherished role was that of Mom and Nana. Her pride and joy were her children and grandchildren, and she treasured her time and memories with them. In 2021 she moved to La Rosa Gardens in Ladysmith where she was thriving and was thrilled to be closer to her granddaughters.
A private celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
