It is with saddened hearts that the family of Marcia Gwendolyn Taylor announces her passing on August 26, 2022 at the age of 83 years. Beloved wife of the late Bob Taylor. Loving mother of Randy (Tracey) Taylor and Jody Whitton. Cherished Nana of Zachary (Annie) Taylor, Eli (Nikki) Taylor, Mike (Libby) Whitton and the late Nicole Whitton. Treasured Great Nana of Beau, Lincoln and Cohen Taylor and Gwen and Axel Whitton. Marcia will be missed by her brother Lonnie (Nancy) McIntyre and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Walter and Peggy and sisters Sheila and Sandy. The family would like to express thanks to the wonderful nurses (especially Ashley) and volunteers at St. Joseph’s Hospice in Sarnia for the exceptional care provided to Marcia. Friends and family will be greeted at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held at Longwoods Cemetery, 22338 Melbourne Rd, Melbourne, on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. Expressions of sympathy may be expressed through donations to St Joseph’s Hospice (cheques only at the funeral home please).
