Obituary of Marcel Raymond Doucet
We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Marcel, on November 6th, 2022, at age 69. He passed away suddenly with the love of his life by his side, Paulette (Soucie). Beloved father of Marc (Crystal), Luc (Robin) and Natalie (Paul), and cherished Papa to his grandchildren, Jersey, Vella, Evelyn, Juniper, Lyric, Avery and Emerson. He will be fondly missed by his brother, Roger (Monique). He was predeceased by his parents, Raymond and Madeleine of Welland. He will be also missed by his many family and friends.
The family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 585 Carlton Street on Thursday, November 10th from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Vigil prayers at 3pm. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated for Marcel on Friday morning at 10am at the Cathedral of St. Catherine of Alexandria, 3 Lyman Street. Cremation to follow. If so desired, donation made in Marcel’s Memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by his family.
