Mansel Clifford Tingley 19452022 avis de deces

Mansel Clifford Tingley
1945-2022
Mansel Clifford Tingley, 76, of Hopewell Cape passed away
on April 29th, 2022 at his home where he wanted to
be.
Mansel was born in Midway on December 15, 1945 the son of
the late Clifford and Burdenia (Butland) Tingley.
Mansel had a love of horses and worked in the woods with
his team of Clydesdales clearing wood lots. He was known at
the Albert County Exhibition for participating in the Horse Hauls,
always being there to help out whether competing or just
lending a hand. He also loved working on farms in
the area, whether in the hayfield, butchering, or in the
barn, he was able to do anything that needed done.
He had a great sense of humour and enjoyed teasing and
tormenting everyone around him. He also had a way
of telling a story, you really never knew when he was pulling
your leg and he definitely wouldn’t tell you any
different. He enjoyed watching people’s reactions
with every word he spoke. He loved his children and
grandchildren very much. He seemed to have a special connection with
all the babies and he would hold and play with the kids for
hours. As his health deteriorated he made it clear he wanted
to stay at his home in Hopewell Cape and he was grateful to
have this wish fulfilled. His memory will live on in our
hearts forever.
He will be missed by his sons, Roger Tingley (Terry) of
Albert MInes, Kevin Tingley (Tasha) of Fredericton, Donald Steeves of
Moncton; daughter, Laura Tingley ( Shannon Tilley) of Hopewell Cape;
brother, Harley Tingley of Quispamsis and Russell Tingley (Rolla) of
Alma; sister-in-law, Beulah Tingley of Riverview; brother-in-law, Sam
Steeves of Hopewell Cape; his treasured grandchildren, Samantha
(Graham), Daniel ,Travis, Hailey, Hannah, Ocean,
Breeze, Savannah, Blaine, Max, Manny, Parker, Blake and
Brooklyn and by several precious great grandchildren. He
will also be missed by several nieces and nephews and by all his
extended family and friends.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife, Louise
(Steeves) Tingley; daughter, Tina; brother Ivan Tingley;
sister-in-law, Linda Tingley.
Honoring Mansel’s own wishes there will be no visitation or
funeral service. A private graveside service will be held in
the Green Hill Cemetery, Edgett’s Landing at a later
date.
For those who wish donations to the Green Hill Cemetery or
charity of the donor’s choice would be greatly
appreciated.
Arrangements are in the care f the Albert County Funeral
Home, 4130 Route 114, Hopewell Cape, NB, E4H-3K2
