The family announces with great sorrow her death on Friday April 22, 2022 at the Timmins and District Hospital at the age of 76.
Predeceased by her husband Rhéal Chartrand (2020). Loving mother of Lise Nault (Lee) and Don Nault (Pat) and stepmother of Rhéal (Lise) Chartrand. Dear grandmother of Don Nault Jr, Tyler and Billy Taillefer; great-grandmother of Kolton, and step-grandmother of Kirsten and Marquise.
Dear sister of Aurel Carrière (Pauline), late Noëlla Demers (Jean-Guy), late Raymond Carrière, late Henri Carrière, late Roland Carrière (Lucille) and late Fernand Carrière (Noëlla).
Also survived by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Maurice Chartand (Colette), Frank Young (late Denise), and Irène Chartrand (late Jacques). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Also predeceased by Denis, Robert and Yvon Chartrand, and Huguette Lauzon (Laurent).
A special thank you to Dr. Lee and Dr. Bates as well as the nurses at the Timmins and District Hospital Hospice.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday April 26, 2022 at 11 a.m. at St Dominique church. Inurnment will follow at Timmins Memorial Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Lessard-Stephens Funeral Home. Remembrance donations to the Timmins and District Hospital Hospice or to St Dominque Parish would be greatly appreciated.
