Catherine MacDonald (nee France) born March 27, 1958, age 64, passed away unexpectedly in Montreal on June 14, 2022. Wife to the late Kenneth MacDonald (2013), she is survived by her sisters, Deborah (Todd Draycott) and Susan (Terry Draycott), and her three children, Lisa Sly (Adam Sly), Daniel MacDonald, and Ryan MacDonald (Cheryl MacDonald).
In addition to being a mother to three, she was Nanny Cathy to her grandchildren, Isla, Benjamin, Adaline, Jeremy, Jordynn, Ahmya, Wilder, Olen, Emma and Maya. She also recently earned her great-nanny badge following the birth of Aaliyah. She was much beloved by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.
Cathy will be forever remembered for her feisty stubbornness that was tempered only by her ability to find humor in most situations.
A private service will be held by her family and close friends to remember and celebrate her life.
