Lynne DeMontmorency 2022 avis de deces

Margaret ‘Lynne’ deMontmorency (Aug 12, 1952 – Sept 8, 2022)
On September 08, 2022, Margaret ‘Lynne’ deMontmorency, loving wife, aunt, sister-in-law, cousin and dear friend, passed away peacefully on the Palliative Care Ward of Woodstock General Hospital.
Lynne is survived by her loving husband Paul Black, nieces Pamela de Montmorency (Stuart), Paula de Montmorency (Rob), nephews Jason deMontmorency (Halle), Michael Izzard (Kristen) and great nieces and nephews, Nya, Oliver, Daniel, Amelia, Preston and Zackary.
Lynne will be dearly missed by Elisabeth, Dianne, Shirley, Ila, Paul Jr, Karen, Teddy and her many dear friends. Lynne is also survived by her two perfect kitties whom she adored; Pollyanna and Annabelle.
Lynne is predeceased by her father Raymond, mother Merla (McMillen) and brothers Gary and Doug de Montmorency.
Lynne was born August 12, 1952 in Norwich, Ontario. She enjoyed a long career as a successful Human Resources Manager and in her retirement worked tirelessly for the Norwich United Church and Norwich Legion Branch 190. Lynne was known as an elegant, kind and gentle soul. She was fiercely independent, intellectual and creative. She played piano exquisitely and sang in the church choir her entire life. Lynne was an artist, a cat lover, a chef, seamstress and avid gardener. She loved colour, music, food, travel, and most of all she loved her many friends and her devoted family.
Her favorite times were spent sitting around the kitchen table drinking wine and talking. She lived her life to the fullest and her family and friends will miss her tremendously and hold her deeply in their hearts forever.
The family is sincerely grateful for the incredible care she received from the Palliative Nursing staff at Woodstock General Hospital. Your guidance, patience and incredible kindness will never be forgotten. We would also like to thank all of our friends for the support and comfort we’ve received during this very sad time.
Our Lynnie was a unique and talented person. Our broken hearts will never fully heal but we are the luckiest people in the world to have been blessed with knowing her.
Funeral service will be held at the Norwich United Church, 80 Main Street West, Norwich, Ontario, on Friday, September 16, 2022 at 2 pm. Cremation has taken place. Following the service, family and friends are gathering at the Royal Canadian Legion – Branch # 190 from 3 – 6 pm, where if you were unable to attend service, please do join the family.
