Louise G. Cook
1942 – 2022
Louise Gertrude Cook, age 79 passed away at Miramichi Regional Hospital on Wednesday August 10, 2022.
Born in Redmondville NB on December 30, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Archibald and Elizabeth (Sullivan) Cook. She was a registered nurses assistant and worked for many years at Stratford General Hospital. After retiring she worked retail in many different jobs. Louise was a member of St. Michael’s Basilica.
She is survived by one son Derrick Cook of Bolton Ontario who she raised with love and devotion. Three grandchildren Jessica, Lexi (Kalvin) and Noelle, also the center of her world as well as Linda Chaffe their mother. Two sister’s Lorraine Gray (Rheal) and Aggie Fosheim both of Miramichi. Three Brother’s Paul Cook (Myrna) of St. Margaret’s, Hughie Cook (Shirley) of Hamilton Ontario and Brian Cook (Colleen) of Glenwood and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, six sisters Marie, Beryl, Pat, Marjorie, Eileen, Jeannie and one brother Wendall.
As per her wishes, a private service will be held for immediate family members only at St. Margaret’s Catholic Church with Father John Fraser as Celebrant. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
