Passed away peacefully at the St. Lawrence Lodge on Monday, January 31st, 2022 at the age of 91 years. Beloved wife of the late Ralph Dawson and cherished mother of Bill Dawson (Marjorie), Ken Dawson (Phyllis) and Anne Ball (Ron). Grandmother of Michael (Amy), Karen, Katie (Scott), Rachael (James) and Ryan (Sarah). Great Grandmother of Ethan, Hilton, Nora, Lia, Victoria and Ronan. Also survived by her sister Myrtle Fox (Mansel – deceased); by her sisters-in-law Edith Salmon and Noreen Dawson and by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Alice Jane (Sunderland) and William Salmon and by her siblings Ernie, Irvine and Stanley Salmon, Edith Reynolds, Stan, Bill, Stewart and Earl Pritchard.
Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn, 2451 County Road 15, Maitland on Friday, February 4, 2022 from 2 – 5 pm and on Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 10-10:45 am.
A service in celebration of Louise’s life will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 11 am.
Covid protocols will be in effect with registration of attendance for visitation and service required. RSVP below call 613-342-2828 to register.
Interment to follow at Oakland Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Lanark, Leeds and Grenville or the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged.
