Lorraine Patricia “Lori” King
(nee McLaughlin)
Passed away suddenly on Monday, December 20, 2022. Beloved wife and best friend of Anthony. Cherished daughter of James and Patricia McLaughlin. Loving sister of Kathy McLaughlin and Mark McLaughlin (Terri Feltz). She will be dearly missed by her fur baby Dakota and fur nieces and nephew Lulu, Tigger and Indiana. Lori will be joining her predeceased aunts, uncles and extended family in heaven. She will be dearly missed by her extended family; the Latimer, Smith, Wigle and Joy families in Canada and the King and Cumberbatch families in St. Vincent. The family wishes to thank the nurses and doctors from Victoria Hospital Critical Care Trauma Centre and the Thoracic Surgical Care Unit for their care and compassion during Lori’s brief stay in hospital. Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Divine Church, 390 Base Line Road West, on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at 10 a.m. Cremation to follow. If desired, memorial donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society, S.C.A.A.R., LHSC – Victoria Hospital, or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
