Lori Lee Rees – 62, of Centreville, passed away in the Valley
Regional Hospital on Saturday, November 5, 2022. Born in Pasadena,
Newfoundland, she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Ruth (Barnes)
Dawe.
Lori worked for many years as a personal care worker at
Wedgewood House, Kentville. She will be fondly remembered for her
great sense of humour and for her love of animals. She thoroughly
enjoyed spending time outdoors in nature, and in the
garden.
She is survived by her husband, James “Jay”; son,
Jason (Melissa), Halls Harbour; siblings, Sandy Bagnell, Prince Edward
Island, Darryl (Debbie) Dawe, Newfoundland, Cheree (Vernon) Butt, Nova
Scotia, Kim (Mary Grace) Dawe, British Columbia, Wendy (Jesse) Henry,
Halifax; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her
brother, Shane Dawe, and brother-in-law, Murray
Bagnell.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday,
November 12, 2022 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s
Witnesses, Kentville. The service will also be available to view
online via Zoom – Zoom ID: 85710903005; Password: 969155.
Donations in memory may be made to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s
Witnesses, Kentville Congregation (donate.jw.org). Funeral
arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and
Cremation Services, Kentville. On-line condolences and inquiries may
