Obituary
A light from our family is gone, a voice we loved is still.
On January 4, 2022, Lois “B.B.” Mildred Blair (nee Barfoot) lost her battle to dementia peacefully with her family by her side in her 88th year. Loving wife for 66 years, soulmate and best friend to Jim Blair, mother to Shelley Black (Peter), grandma to Tyler Watson (Victoria), and Tamara Watson (Dale), great grandma to to 3 beautiful great granddaughters Emily, Khy, and Anuhea. Sister to Maggie Walmsely (Lorne). Predeceased by her parents Alvin and Lena Barfoot, brother Paul Barfoot (Marg), and sister Vera Hargest-Crymbal (Sam) (Byron). Lois will be dearly missed by all of her nieces and nephews.
Lois was a leader of bible study in her hone and other homes for many years as well as an elder of a church for 10 years.
“God saw you getting tired, and a cure was not to be.
So he put his arms around you and whispered *come to me*.
A golden heart stopped beating, working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best.”
Today you are gone, but you left footprints here that we can follow for the rest of our lives.
As per Lois’ wishes, cremation has taken place and a private service will take place in the spring at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family would love to have donations made to the CNIB or the Alzheimer Society.
Special thanks to Kelso Pines for all of your support during this time.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Lois Mildred Barfoot Blair January 4 2022..
