Obituary of Linda Margaret Foster
It deeply saddens us all to have to say goodbye to the most beautiful loving soul a family could have ever wished or hoped for.
Linda Margaret Foster passed away from a sudden illness at the age of 72 on Wednesday, February 9th at Southlake Regional Health Centre surrounded by her loving family, husband of 54 years John Foster and her 2 children, son Corey Foster and daughter Amy Annette. Linda was a loving “Gramma” to her 5 grandchildren (Nathan Annette, Gavin Foster, Elora Annette, Caitlin Foster and Sarah Annette) who she was always proud to talk about to anyone. She was and will continue to be the guardian angel to her mother Hazel Wallen 91 and her father Murray Wallen who passed away at the age of 86 in 2015 and her 2 younger brothers Bob and Terry Wallen and their families. Our family is heartbroken and deeply saddened by this sudden loss of such a bright light in our lives. Anyone who was lucky to know Linda was touched by her kindness, warmth and caring ways. She had the patience of an angel, a generous heart and boundless optimism, that despite her physical limitations, never waivered. Linda’s kind and caring ways naturally led her into nursing right from her high school days at Huron Heights S.S where she started her journey as a candy striper then RNA at York County Hospital (now Southlake Hospital) where for 35 years she cared for and touched so many lives. It was also her high school days when she met and would later marry, the love of her life, John William Foster. Their love, just like Linda’s optimism, always boundless and never waivered. Linda was fiercely loyal to all of her friends and family and gave all of her love and time whenever she was able.

We will love you, honor your memory and miss you, forever.
A celebration of life will take place in the warmer weather with close friends and family.
