It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Linda Elizabeth (Campbell) Shaw. A truly amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many. Linda passed away peacefully on February 16, 2022 in the Palliative Care Unit at the Victoria General Hospital, Halifax. She was born on February 4, 1950 in Pictou to the late Jean and Elmer Campbell. She is survived by her only daughter, Kathleen (Ray); treasured granddaughter, Emily MacIsaac; companion, Chester Fraser; sisters, Doris Dixon, Diane Sutherland, Helen (Bert) Chapman; sisters-in-law, Anna MacDonald, Margaret (Ray) Dunville, Rena Smith, Marie Walsh; brother-in-law, Fraser (Hazel) Shaw; many nieces, nephews and friends that have become like family. She was an amazing cook on the Northumberland Ferries Ltd. for many years. There will be no visitation or service by request. We would like to thank the staff at the QEII and Palliative Care at the VG site for the care she received. Donations in Linda’s memory may be made to a charity of choice.
