Linda Diane Kilner, 74, New Glasgow, passed away peacefully, Sunday, December 4, 2022, at the home of her daughter, with Kim and Melissa by her side.
Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Gwendolyn Mary (Booth) Jones. In earlier years, Linda, worked as a waitress at the former, House of Hay and Wagon Wheel, New Glasgow. She was employed with the Homestretch Meat Market for several years before moving to Mississauga in 1990, where she was employed with a plastics manufacturing company. Over the years Linda enjoyed going to bingo with her best friend, Karen. In recent years, she enjoyed watching the 6 o’clock news and outside smoke breaks with her neighbour, Gary. Linda was the family “fur babysitter”, always willing to look after the family pets when called upon. Above all, her granddaughter, Melissa, was her “pride and joy”. Linda delighted in telling her friends and neighbours about Melissa’s accomplishments and did everything possible to help her. She leaves a rich legacy of love.
