TALBOT, Linda
Linda Darlene Talbot (née Armstrong) passed away peacefully, with dignity and grace, with her children by her side at her home on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 in her 71st year. She was a beautiful woman in every way, and will always be remembered for her selfless and humble nature. Her legacy of unconditional love, strength and inspiration will be cherished forever.
Linda was the loving mother of Kevin Talbot of Goderich, Tammy Patterson (Bill) of Goderich, Shawn Talbot (Jodi) of Kincardine, and Sherri Scott (Jamie) of Milverton. Greatly missed by her grandchildren, who she adored – Quinn, Camryn, Keltie, Cody, Kyler, Kael, Morgan, Parker, Payton and Kayden. Lovingly remembered by her sister Bonita “Bonnie” Calhoun (Larry) of London, and her brother Bradley Armstrong (Jo-Anne) of Crossfield, AB. Also fondly remembered by her nephews Chad, Craig and Michael; the father of her children, John Talbot; and her companion George Canton. Linda was predeceased by her parents Leslie and Lois Armstrong, and her brother Brian.
At Linda’s request, cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at Falconer Funeral Homes – Bluewater Chapel in Goderich on Thursday, December 30, 2021.
A public outdoor Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 2 p.m., at the River Houzz, a special place along the river that Linda loved (37670 Maitland Block Road, Auburn). Spring interment will take place at Bayfield Cemetery.
