Carritt, Linda Josephine Gayle
1958~2022
It is with great sorrow that the family of Linda (Armeneau) Carritt announce that she passed peacefully on the evening of Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at the age of 64 years. She left this world while in the care of the Red Deer Regional Hospital surrounded by her loved ones who will miss her dearly.
Linda was a mother, Nana, sister, and friend. She was a proud mom to daughter Gina (husband Ian Whittemore) and son Jamie Carritt (wife Stacey) and her adored grandchildren Havanna, Emily and Gavin. She will be missed by her brother Tom, sister Juanita, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, honorary kids, and lifelong friends. She was predeceased by parents George and Ellen Armeneau.
Linda was born in Calgary June 10, 1958. She worked at E& M Oilfield, managed the Valley Hotel, the Mess at the Armouries, and Hazard County and enjoyed volunteering and working as a Cadet leader. Linda greatest loves were her family, friends, and pets. She was a pillar to her family, a remarkable woman and a wonderful grandmother who brought love and happiness to so many.
