Do Couto, Leonardo “Leo”
It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Leo after a courageous battle on August 14, 2022 at Grand River Hospital in his 72nd year. Beloved husband of Maria Couto for 44 years. Cherished father of Daniella and Kevin Couto. Loving grandfather of Liliana Martinez Diaz. Son of the late Isaura and Alvaro Ferreira. Loving brother of 5 siblings. Leo loved to play soccer, garden and play with his granddaughter. He enjoyed spending quality time with his beloved wife and family. Visitation will be held at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL on Tuesday, August 16, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. with Vigil prayers at 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Lawrence Church on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at 10:30 am. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery in Burlington. In lieu of flowers donation to The Kidney Foundation of Canada, would be appreciated by the family.
