Leonard (Len) Ray Caldwell CAF, RCMP C/M
Passed away at Providence Care Health Centre, Kingston, on June 23rd, 2022 at the age 67, with his devoted wife, daughters and family by his side after a brief battle with cancer. Len will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Katherine/Kathy (Krieger) of 43 years, daughters Emily, Sarah (Nathan) and grandchildren Mariah and Tyler. He will be missed by his siblings Val (Chip) Chipman, Dan (Diana) Caldwell, Rob (Lorelei) Caldwell and Cindy Eccleston. Great brother in law to Gerald (Judy) Krieger, Mary Lou (Jim) Brannen, John (Claudette) Krieger, Paul (Julie) Krieger. Fondly remembered by nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his father, Raymond Caldwell and mother Mona Jarvis Furnandiz (Vic). Will also be missed by Ruth Caldwell. He will be remembered for his hardy laugh, playing the guitar, love of music, fishing, family sunset cruises on Clydesdale lake and his contagious smile. Len was very creative and always had a project on the go. One of his biggest projects (with the help of Aunt Carol Coughlin) was to organize and create the Caldwell family tree. He also created the Jarvis and Sager family tree. Leonard was an avid reader of a variety of books including his great grandfather’s journals, enhancing his love for history.
Arrangements have been entrusted in Wartman Funeral home, Napanee. A private celebration of life to take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Condolences may be forwarded online through wartmanfuneralhomes.ca
