Leona’s Obituary
BOWER, Leona Mae- 90 of Lockeport formerly of Lower Ohio passed away peacefully at Surf Lodge on February 3, 2022. Leona was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be missed dearly.
In her earlier years she enjoyed oil and toll painting, pencil sketching and knitting and also loved to play a good game of crib “which she hated to lose at!”. She was a member of the Ohio Ladies Aid for many years.
She is survived by her children; William “Buddy” Bower; Scott (Susan) Bower; Sterling “Ike” (Joanne) Bower; and daughter Julie Bower; grandchildren; Jennifer, Amy, Kyle and Cody, six great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert A. Bower Jr. and her mother Ethel (Victor) Wesley.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Shelburne and a memorial service will take place a later date when all family can get together.
