Leona’s Obituary
Leona Karen Nickerson, 68 years of age, of Centreville, Shelburne County, N.S, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Clam Point, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Violet Nickerson.
Leona worked in retail positions in both Halifax and Shelburne County, throughout her life.
She dearly loved the Lord and would often take time to pray with those in need, whom she met along the way.
Leona will be sadly missed by her husband of 48 years, Willis, sister, Madeline, brother, Brad (Thelma) , niece Patti (Wayne) and nephew, Kody (Lise).
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Charles & Marshall, as well as twin brother, Leigh.
Arrangements are under the care and direction ofH.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Barrington. No visitation or service by request.
