C’est avec une grande tristesse que nous vous annonçons le décès de Léo Godard, décédé le 22 mai 2022, à l’âge de 79 ans.
Il était l’époux bien aimé de Liette (née Drouin) Godard.
Père bien aimé de feu Dominique et feu Normand.
Il laisse dans le deuil son frère et sa sœur; Louis (Hélène Chénier) et Georgette (feu Maurice Cayer).
Prédécédé par ses parents Paul et Louisa (née Leduc) Godard, ses frères et sœurs; Georges, Jean (feu Thérèse Méthot), Jeanne (feu Émile Durocher), Léonard (Rita Charlebois), Arthur, Hector (Marie Paul Brisson) et Albert (Gail Epps).
Il laisse également dans le deuil ses beaux-frères et belles-sœurs; Denis Drouin (Suzanne Bélanger), Suzanne St-Denis (Robert), Normand Drouin (Miriam Proaño) et feu André Drouin (Ginette Séguin), ses amis, plusieurs nièces et neveux. Spécialement Mario, Nicole, et Julien Duval.
Léo a été employé de Postes Canada pendant 34 ans.
La famille et les amis sont priés de se réunir dans le cimetière Ste-Euphémie samedi le 4 juin 2022 à 10h pour une célébration.

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Léo Godard, who passed away on May 22, 2022, at the age of 79.
He was the beloved husband of Liette (née Drouin) Godard.
Cherished father of the late Dominique and late Normand.
Loving brother of Louis (Hélène Chénier) and Georgette (late Maurice Cayer).
Predeceased by his parents Paul and Louisa (née Leduc) Godard. Also predeceased by his siblings Georges, Jean (late Thérèse Méthot), Jeanne (late Émile Durocher), Léonard (Rita Charlebois), Arthur, Hector (Marie Paul Brisson) and Albert (Gail Epps).
Dear Brother-in-Law of Denis Drouin (Suzanne Bélanger), Suzanne St-Denis (Robert), Normand Drouin (Miriam Proaño) and the late André Drouin (Ginette Séguin).
Léo will be greatly missed by his friends, many nieces, and nephews. Especially by his friends Mario, Nicole, and Julien Duval.
Léo was an employee of Canada Post for 34 years.
Family and friends are asked to gather in Ste-Euphémie Cemetery for a Service on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at 10 am.
Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
