Léo Daigle
1935-2022
SAINT-LOUIS-DE-KENT, NB – Léo Daigle,
87, passed away peacefully at the Villa Maria, Saint-Louis-de-Kent on
Friday, November 25th, 2022. Born in
Saint-Charles, he was the son of the late Fred and Catherine (Comeau)
Daigle. Before retiring, Léo worked as a
lumberjack.
Léo leaves to mourn his daughter, Claudette Daigle
of Saint-Louis-de-Kent; his five sons, Claude Daigle
(Hélène) of Richibouctou-Village, Gilles Daigle
(Sonia) of Robertville, Gabriel Daigle (Diane) of Moncton, Freddy
Daigle (Lise) of Saint-Ignace and Stéphane Daigle (Roxanne)
of Richibouctou-Village; as well as his 14 grandchildren and 22
great-grandchildren.
Léo will also be sadly missed by his two sisters,
Yvette Albert (Claudius) of Saint John and Doris Poirier (Jacques) of
Rogersville; his four brothers, Gérald (Cindy), Eric
(Sandra), Jean-Marc (Martha) and Maurice (Cathy), all of Saint John;
as well as by his many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Léo was predeceased by his
loving wife, Yvette (Gallant) Daigle; his four sisters, Anita, Alvina,
Alice and Jeannette; his three brothers, Arthur, Ronald and
Louis-Emile; as well as two infant siblings, Germaine and
Jean.
Visitation will be held at Thompson Funeral Home, Richibucto
Tuesday from 7-9 pm and Wednesday from 9:00 am until departure for the
funeral. The funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday, November
30th, 2022 at 10:00 am,
Saint-Charles-Borromée Roman Catholic Church,
Saint-Charles.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to
the staff of the Villa Maria for the excellent care provided to
Léo.
