Obituary of Lena Sadler
Sadler, Evelyn Mary “Lena” – Peacefully, on Saturday April 16, 2022 at Allendale Long Term Care, Milton. Lena, in her 99th year, wife of the late Norman Sadler (2015). Loving mother of Yvette (Gary) Spiller of Georgetown and Jacquie (Len) Robinson of Wakes Colne, England. Cherished and proud grandmother of Keith (Joanne), Jamie (Samantha), Neil (Agnes), Wayne, Nicola (Sean) and Stephen (Celia). Loved great grandmother of Matthew, Michael, Megan, Max, Henry, Jamie, Tommy, Callum, Samuel, Ryan, Kaley and Emma. Dear sister of Pat Calloway. Lena was predeceased by her sisters Beryl and Millie. Next to family, Lena’s passion was the game of golf. In earlier years in her native England, Lena became an accomplished golfer, winning her club championship on several occasions. She was particularly proud of her several “holes in one”. After their retirement and move to Canada Lena and Norm could often be found on the links at Acton and Erin Heights, where they made some good friends. Lena also loved to knit and received many compliments on her work.
A private family service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery, Georgetown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Allendale LTC would be appreciated.
