WINGETT, Leonard (Len)
Surrounded by his loving family, Len Wingett died peacefully in his 91st year on October 26, 2022. Beloved husband of Carol (nee Ball). Loving and devoted father of Dan (Diane), Brian (Karen) and Bill. Cherished “Pa” of Katelyn, Alina, Grace; Makayla (Joe Lehman), Michael, Andrew; Ashley (Jamie Tuchscherer), Dustin (Devin), Billie (Holden Sweeting). Much loved great-grandfather to 5 great-grandchildren. Brother of Ken (Dorothy) and Ray. Brother-in-law of Charlie (deceased) and Judy Ball, Ross and Cathy (deceased) Mace, and Dale and Sharon (deceased) Mace. Son of the late Cecil and Ruby Wingett. Len was a proud lifelong resident of Lakefield and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. We are so grateful for the care and compassion of the staff at Lakefield Extendicare.
Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES- LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 QUEEN STREET, LAKEFIELD, on Sunday, October 30 from 1:00 PM- 4 :00 PM. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday, October 31 at 11:00 AM, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Reception will follow at Lakefield Baptist Church.
