Leeroy Wynne
The family of Leeroy Wynne sadly announced his passing on Friday, January 14, 2022 in Timmins, ON. A resident of Kashechewan First Nation, he was a person who had a caring heart and shared his passion for music with others by skillfully playing a variety of instruments for everyone to enjoy. Leeroy was an artist not just in music, but in First Nations art. He proudly displayed his art in the local organizations. He always had a smile and often greeted you wherever he was, he will be missed by his family, relatives and friends.
Leeroy leaves behind his parents Roy & Rita Wynne (nee Quachegan), his second parents Jean Anderson and late Mervin Anderson, siblings Celina Wynne and Anthony Wynne. His children Kendra Martin, Dwayde Wynne, Lucas Martin, Treanna Wynne, Eden Wynne, Kody Wynne and Nathaniel Wynne-Sutherland. His friends Conredge Solomon, Hosea Wesley, Robert Friday, Roger Davey, Gordy Davey, Philip Goodwin Jr., Jules Tapas and Gabriel Tapas.
He is predeceased by his brother Clayton Wynne, his daughter Trianna Martin and friends Albert Wynne Jr. and Simeon Tapas.
A private visitation will be held. Leeroy will be laid to rest in Kashechewan. Remembrance donations can be made to the foundation of your choice. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
