Obituary for Leanne Shawn Mantha
My heart is unbearably heavy at the passing of my beloved wife Leanne. She will always remain a part of me.
I feel lucky that we were able to find each other and share our lives together. We first met on a rooftop gathering underneath the stars and talked all through the night. We agreed to meet for dinner the following day and we were never apart after that.
I loved her and I admired her. She rose, on your own, to have a senior position at the largest investment management company in the world.
She was always considerate of others. When we first started seeing each other, she was volunteering at a soup kitchen on Sunday mornings after working tirelessly all week. She made me a better person.
She loved our home and making it cozy and comfortable to share with our friends. One of her joys was having dinner parties where she could plan and cook amazing meals.
We loved doing everything together. We always walked our dog together. We traveled the world and had wonderful adventures. We loved to visit the great cities of the world and explore them thoroughly. Paris, Rome, Athens, Barcelona, London, New York, San Francisco, Melbourne are just some. She loved our adventures of climbing Gros Point mountain in Saint Lucia, and horse back riding in Mexico to catching scallops off the coast of Francois, Newfoundland.
All I ever really wanted, was to be with her.
