Following a brief illness and with her loved ones by her side, Leah
Danielle McAllister of Perth-Andover, NB, passed away peacefully at
Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on the evening of December 31,
2021.
Leah was born in Sydney, NS, on March 23, 1987. She was the beloved
daughter of Dean McAllister (Theresa) of Perth-Andover, NB, and
Juanita MacNeil of Sydney, NS. Besides her parents and step-mother,
Leah leaves behind her children, Bree Keough, Dean Keough, and Drew
Keough, all of Rowena, NB; her sisters, Stephanie Samson (Jason) of
Halifax, NS, Lindsay McAllister (fiancé Brody) of Nackawic, NB;
her paternal grandparents, Leland and Lisa McAllister of Lower
Kintore, NB; her maternal grandmother, Theresa MacPherson of Sydney,
NS; along with several nephews, aunts, and uncles.
Leah was predeceased by her brother, Steven Samson; and her maternal
grandfather, Joseph MacNeil.
Although Leah had her struggles, her love for her family and her
children remained constant and strong throughout. She will be missed
by family and friends and she is now at peace.
A celebration of Leah’s life will be held at a later date.
For those who wish, memorial donations to the Making a Difference Food
Bank would be appreciated by the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover, NB.
