LAURIE, Margaret Louise
Passed peacefully at Hillsdale Terrace, Oshawa, on Friday, June 17, 2022, at the age of 101. A lifelong resident of Oshawa, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Edith Ann Pierson. Married in Oshawa to Thomas James Laurie in 1942. Jim passed away in 1996. Mother of Thomas James Laurie and wife Marjorie. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Paul (Vanessa), Michael (Lynsie) and Heather (Stephen), and 5 great-grandchildren. Sister of the late Isabel, Grace, Robert and Audrey. It is Margaret’s wish that there will be no viewing or service. Cremation arrangements entrusted to the McINTOSH-ANDERSON-KELLAM FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558). Scattering of ashes at Oshawa Union Cemetery. The family would like to express our appreciation and thanks to the staff at Hillsdale Terrace who have cared for Margaret these last few years. Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Durham Region in Margaret’s memory would be welcome.
