Obituary of Lauren Ava Stemmann
The parents of Lauren Ava Stemmann are heartbroken to announce her passing on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at home in Fort McMurray, Alberta, at the age of 12.
Lauren was born and raised in Fort McMurray. She attended Sister Mary Phillips School from EEP to grade 6 and then Father Patrick Mercredi Community High School for grade 7. She played soccer, joined mini rugby events, and played on her school sports teams.

Lauren was a beacon of light to many. She was soft-spoken, incredibly kind, and warm-hearted. She had the perfect timing for a joke or a roast. She could immediately connect with people, drawing them into a friendship that would last lifetimes. She would make a lasting impression wherever she went.
