Obituary of Larry Hugh Oliver
It is with much sadness that the family of Larry Oliver of Saint John, announce his untimely death, which occurred at his residence on Monday, November 7, 2022. Born in Saint John on July 10, 1963, he was a son of the late Greg and Betty (Laird) Oliver.
Prior to working at Kate-Lynne Courier, Larry had a 21 year career with Baxter’s Dairy. Larry was skilled at welding and was passionate about Hot Rods, bikes and remote control planes and helicopters. In his younger years, he loved playing hockey.
Larry will be lovingly remembered by his siblings, Joan Darrah and her children, Brian and Tammy, Wayne Oliver (Nancy) and their children, Laura and Rob, Heather Butler (Denis) and their children, Kelsey and Jordan and Brian Oliver and his children, Elizabeth (Matthew) and Adam. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Paula.
Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting taking place on Monday, November 14, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A funeral service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at 12:00 PM. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.
For those who wish, remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
